Google Review QR Code Generator

Make a QR code that opens the Google review box directly — no hunting through your listing. Free, unlimited, and generated entirely in your browser.

Paste your Place ID, or a review link you already have from your Google Business Profile.

Finding your Place ID

Open Google's Place ID Finder, search your business name, and copy the ID it shows. It starts with ChIJ and is about 27 characters.

Already have a short link from your Google Business Profile? Paste that instead — it ends in /review.

Your review link

Enter a Place ID and the direct review link appears here.

This code is static — it will keep working forever, but it can't tell you anything. A free QRLinkify account gives you a version that counts every scan, and lets you change where it points without reprinting.

Your Google review QR code appears here once you add a Place ID.

Why the link matters more than the code

Every QR generator will turn a link into a square. The part that decides whether you actually get reviews is which link you put inside it.

Most people paste their Google Maps listing. That opens the business page, where the customer then has to scroll, find the reviews section, tap "Write a review", and sign in. Every one of those steps loses people. A review link built from your Place ID skips all of it and opens the star rating box straight away.

That is the whole difference between a code that collects reviews and one that gets scanned and abandoned.

How to find your Place ID

Your Place ID is a permanent identifier Google gives every listing. It looks like ChIJN1t_tDeuEmsRUsoyG83frY4 — around 27 characters, usually starting with ChIJ.

Search for Google Place ID Finder, open Google’s own tool, and type your business name. It shows the ID under the map pin. Copy it and paste it above.

If you manage the listing in Google Business Profile, there is a faster route: the profile has a "Get more reviews" share link that already points at the review box. It ends in /review. Paste that here instead and this tool will use it as-is.

Where to put it once it is printed

The best placement is wherever the customer is already happy and not in a hurry. On a restaurant bill folder. On the counter by the card machine. On a thank-you card in a delivery box. Beside the door on the way out.

What does not work is the entrance, or anywhere someone is still waiting for service — you are asking for a review of an experience that has not finished yet.

Add one line of text next to it. "Enjoyed your meal? Tell us in 10 seconds" outperforms a bare code, because the code alone does not say what happens when you scan it.

Print it at least 2cm across, and leave white space around the edges. A code squeezed into a corner of a busy receipt is a code nobody scans.

The limit of a static code

The code this page produces is static: your review link is encoded directly into the pattern. It will keep working forever with no service in the middle, which is exactly what you want on something printed.

What it cannot do is tell you anything. You will not know whether 3 people scanned it or 300, which location performs best, or whether the new card design helped. And if your listing ever changes, every printed code is wrong.

A QRLinkify short link behind the code solves both. You get the scan count by day, country and device, and you can repoint it later without reprinting a thing. The free plan covers 50 links a month, so it costs nothing to find out whether the counter by the till beats the one on the receipt.
