Is ShortLink free to use?
Yes. The Free plan is permanent — 50 links/month, 3 QR codes, 2 AI QR codes and 30-day analytics with no credit card required. Paid plans unlock higher limits, custom domains, teams and advanced analytics.
How does ShortLink compare to Bitly?
ShortLink includes a built-in QR code editor and AI QR generator — features Bitly charges extra for or doesn't offer at all. ShortLink also offers longer analytics retention at lower price points.
Can I use my own domain for short links?
Yes. Pro accounts get 1 custom domain; Business accounts get 5. Add a CNAME DNS record and verify in your workspace settings — setup takes under 5 minutes.
What happens to my links if I downgrade?
Your existing links remain active and continue to redirect forever. You will lose access to features above your plan tier, but no data is deleted.
Does ShortLink have a public API?
Yes. Business plan accounts get full REST API access with API key authentication. Endpoints cover link creation, QR generation, analytics queries and workspace management.
Is there a bulk link shortening feature?
Yes. Upload a CSV with one URL per row (and optional custom slug in column two). ShortLink processes the batch and returns a downloadable CSV with all your short links.
