We collect a few categories of information, most of which you provide directly or which is generated as you use the service:

• Account information: your name, email address, password stored only as a secure hash, and the plan you are on
• Content you create: destination URLs, custom slugs, QR code designs, uploaded logos and images, tags, and workspace settings
• Billing information: handled by our payment provider Paddle. We receive limited details such as your plan, billing country, and invoice records, and we do not store full card numbers
• Usage data: how you interact with the dashboard, the features you use, and diagnostic logs that help us fix problems
• Device and connection data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and similar technical details

We use the information we collect to run QRLinkify and to make it better. Specifically, we use it to:

• Provide the service, including creating short links, generating QR codes, and serving redirects
• Show you analytics about your links and QR codes
• Process payments, manage subscriptions, and send billing and account emails
• Keep the service secure, detect abuse, and enforce our terms
• Respond to support requests and communicate important updates
• Understand which features are useful so we can improve the product

QRLinkify uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the website is used. Essential cookies are needed for the service to work.

You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work correctly if you block all cookies.

When someone clicks one of your short links or scans one of your QR codes, we record information about that event so we can show you analytics. This typically includes the time of the click, approximate location based on IP address, device type, browser, and referrer.

We use this data to give you aggregate reporting. We do not use it to build advertising profiles of the people who click your links. Real-time click processing is supported by Tinybird, our analytics infrastructure provider.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us run QRLinkify, and only to the extent they need it to perform their function. These providers include:

• Paddle, for payment processing, billing, and tax handling as merchant of record
• Resend, for sending transactional and account emails
• Tinybird, for real-time click and scan analytics processing
• Cloudflare, for content delivery and storage of QR images and uploaded logos
• Replicate, for generating artwork in the AI QR generator

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of QRLinkify and its users, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will let you know.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards. Analytics retention depends on your plan, as described on the pricing page.

When you close your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we need to keep certain records to meet legal, tax, or security obligations.

We use technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data and to respond quickly if a problem occurs.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information, such as the right to access, correct, export, or delete it, and the right to object to or restrict certain processing.

You can manage much of your information directly in your account settings. For anything else, contact us and we will help. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

QRLinkify and its service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Where information is transferred across borders, we take steps to make sure it remains protected in line with applicable data protection law.

QRLinkify is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the service and the law evolve. When we make a material change, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email or within the product. We encourage you to review this page from time to time.
